Reilly Tarantino provided our structural expertise to transform a historic retail building into a modern commercial space. Our scope included creating over 3,000 sq. ft of ground floor retail space while supporting the existing timber roof. RTE utilized a complex system of steel clamp beams to support the existing roof posts, allowing for the removal of over 25 interior wood columns! Our system enabled the Owner to keep the existing building intact, saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars in construction costs.
